'This technical workshop, made up of lectures and hands-on lab modules, is targeted at anyone who is involved in Internet technology standards, local and national network infrastructure deployment, and day to day network operations.
• The first part of the workshop focuses on IPv6 security with the aim of understanding security concerns and issues faced by operators. The session will take you through the pitfalls of IPv6 and it’s (in)security issues and discuss how to better secure your IPv6 environment. 
• The second part of the workshop will examine current route filtering tools/techniques, discuss RPKI and how RPKI is just a piece in the puzzle, and recommend best practices to secure the internet routing. 

• Phần đầu tiên của hội thảo tập trung vào bảo mật IPv6 và thảo luận về các vấn đề về bảo mật mà các nhà khai thác mạng phải đối mặt. 
• Phần thứ hai của hội thảo sẽ xem xét các công cụ / kỹ thuật lọc định tuyến hiện tại, thảo luận về RPKI và cách RPKI chỉ là một phần trong việc đảm bảo an toàn định tuyến; đề xuất các phương pháp hay nhất để bảo mật định tuyến internet

 

Requirement 

• Online: Participants are advised to bring their own laptop or desktop computers with high speed internet access and administrative access to system. It is also recommended that computers have Intel i5 or i7 processor, >=8GB of RAM and 30GB of free hard disk space.

• Software: SSH Client, Telnet Client (PuTTy)

• Confirm Secure SHell (SSH) is allowed from the office or home network to access the lab infrastructure. Test ssh connectivity, try to connect to route-views.routeviews.org.

• Trực tuyến: Học viên nên mang theo máy tính xách tay hoặc để bàn có kết nối Internet tốc độ cao và có quyền truy cập từ hệ thống. Khuyến nghị rằng máy tính có bộ xử lý Intel i5 hoặc i7,> = 8GB RAM và 30GB dung lượng đĩa cứng trống. 
• Phần mềm: SSH Client, Telnet Client (PuTTy) 
• Kiểm tra kết nối SSH: Xác nhận Secure SHell (SSH) được phép từ văn phòng hoặc mạng gia đình để truy cập vào hệ thống LAB bằng cách kết nối SSH thử đến route-views.routeviews.org.

- Học viên biết cách sử dụng giao diện dòng lệnh (cú pháp cấu hình Cisco IOS).

Prerequisites:

The workshop participants have a working knowledge of: 
- IP Routing (esp BGP).
- How to use a router command line interface (Cisco IOS configuration syntax).
